At The Next Institute, we believe that for the transition of the enterprise to remote work to be successful, technology must take a back seat to human connection. That’s why our virtual learning space was designed to accommodate a unique blend of collaborative online tools, intuitive learning design and Artificial Intelligence which act as an accelerant for a meaningful remote learning and collaboration experience much like our in-person programs.

Our distinct online platform allows enterprising organizations to bring a new level of engagement to online learning with facilitated cohort-based leader development. We recently hosted a virtual program on Leadership Presence and Psychological Safety for 40 participants over a two-week period that resulted in a whole new way of working and interacting with each other online.

Leadership development programs for the remote enterprise

From improving team performance and communication to leadership alignment, value creation, and complex problem solving, our virtual programs are designed to help enterprising organizations tackle their greatest challenges within a remote setting. 

3 key phases of NEXT virtual programs:

Prework—participants take a prework survey and immerse themselves in various videos, articles, and discussions relating to the selected topic.

Intersession Work—participants meet online in a two-hour facilitated session to deepen the conversation, practice skill-building, and surface tensions and areas for further work as a team.

Follow-up post-program—participants apply their learnings through online activities, discussions, take away resources, and a final group session.

Each virtual program typically lasts for two weeks and combines online learning activities with collaborative group discussions and sessions for a fully immersive learning experience. Customizing your remote learning and collaboration experiences

Each learning experience, and each client, is unique, which is why we also offer custom virtual programs tailored to your specific goals and requirements. For example, our Advancing Leadership Presence & Emotional Intelligence program was initially designed to meet the specific request of a client who had been working with us for three years using in-person interactions.

For this particular client, we designed a custom “Learner Space”, providing all participants with a virtual platform to engage with each other and our learning team throughout the year. They have chosen to participate in five virtual Learning Experiences throughout 2020 to elevate their remote leadership with topics including Personal Leadership, Advancing Leadership Presence & Emotional Intelligence, Elevating Leadership through Advanced Coaching, Mindful Leadership, and Charismatic Leadership.
