Learning Leader, Leadership Development
Rene has served in senior roles in learning and leadership development for organizations in varied industries as both an internal specialist and leader and as an external consulting partner. His clients say he is collaborative, curious and creates a safe environment for learning and discovery. Key focus areas have included succession management, workforce optimization and leadership development for aspiring to senior leaders. He feels fortunate to have partnered with and learned from amazing leaders, colleagues and clients and leverages his past wins and missteps so that he can bring his best to each new client engagement. His capacity to go deep with people, recognize patterns and listen for meaning help to quickly uncover client needs and develop fit-for-purpose programs and partnerships. Rene combines his coaching certification and graduate studies in adult education and leadership with a depth of practical and hands-on experience in business. He is a proud dad to three amazing daughters with his wife Lorissa. In his off time, he can be hard to find on some remote trail in the nearby Canadian Rocky Mountains.
