Communication Architect, UpLift StoryStudio Lab
Zuzana is a master communicator. Her medium is visual design, skillfully distilling complex ideas into simple and elegant designs that make them easy to understand and share. Her visual storytelling is integral to the work of The Next Institute helping to pull the complex and the chaotic into a form that can be easily understood and replicated. She loves vexing design challenges and views each project as a unique puzzle with endless possibilities and excels at searching for the one that is a perfect fit for each individual project.
Every piece of the puzzle serves an important purpose: the shape, colour, position, and more, all work together as a whole to achieve the desired outcome. Zuzana takes the time to carefully craft each puzzle piece to fit the project purpose, audience, and client just right.
Zuzana earned her degree in Visual Communication Design from the Alberta University of the Arts and has spent 4 years as a freelance designer, working with a wide variety of clients and projects. Listening is her super-power, working closely with her clients, she is able to pick out subtle cues to ensure that their projects emerge better than they had imagined. This is how magic is created.
